Effective July 24, 2026. Byte Defense version 0.5.0 does not create user accounts, display advertising, use analytics, or transmit gameplay data to OneByte or a third party.
Information the game handles
Mission progress, settings, earned currency, tower unlocks, and rankings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app may remove this local save data.
Device access
The Android build requests vibration access for optional gameplay feedback. It does not request location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, SMS, accessibility, or general network access.
This website
This download site does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, third-party analytics, or an account system. Like most web servers, the hosting and reverse-proxy software may temporarily record basic request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path, and browser user agent for reliability and abuse prevention. Those operational logs should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary.
Future versions
If a future release introduces online play, cloud saves, analytics, accounts, or other data collection, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.
